5. Experience intimate art viewing at a neighborhood micro-museum

Viewing art can do wonders for the brain. But museums can sometimes be crowded and inherently stressful. They’re not all like that, though.

We recommend Neue Galerie, a beautiful space that specializes in Austrian and German art inside a gorgeous Gilded Age mansion. The newly opened Frick Collection is another great choice with never-before-seen galleries.

These museums allow you to view world-class masterworks in a quiet pace that’s different from the experience of crowded galleries.
